CV Guidelines

A CV is a key document in connection with any recruitment process, and it is important that a professional profile is precisely and thoroughly expressed in a CV. A CV should contain the following information:

PERSONAL DATA

  • full name
  • date of birth
  • contact address
  • telephone number and e-mail (please state which one you would like us to use when we contact you)

EDUCATION

The following information is required for relevant education:

  • type and official name
  • educational institution
  • period of education

CAREER HISTORY

Each position should be described in chronological order, stating periods of employment, using for example the following model:

  • the official name of the company (please state any later change of name) with a brief description of the company’s core activities
  • job title and organizational level
  • managerial responsibility – functions and the number of staff
  • most important fields of responsibility and tasks
  • most important achievements
  • For present position please state salary conditions (fixed salary and bonus, etc.) and terms of notice and potential clauses.
  • International Experience
  • type of experience, period of time, and countries

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • languages and level

FAMILY CONDITIONS

  • marital status: married, cohabiting, single, divorced
  • spouse’s or cohabitor’s job
  • children and their ages

SPARE TIME

  • interests
  • positions of trust, e.g. board membership
